Why I started With Love Bonda

Motherhood changed the way I see time.

The days can feel long, but somehow the months pass by too quickly.

Somewhere between raising two little boys, working as a freelance illustrator, and running my wedding invitation business, I started feeling the need to capture these moments before they slip away.

Why?

To be honest, I have a bit of a short-term memory problem. I barely remember what I had for dinner yesterday. And recently I realised something that made me a little sad — I can’t clearly remember what my boys looked like when they were babies or how i spent my daily life with them.

I can’t go back in time to relive those moments of caring for a newborn, a baby, a tiny toddler. But maybe, just maybe, if I start journaling and capturing the little moments now, one day I’ll be able to come back here and revisit these seasons of life.. the messy, beautiful, exhausting, magical years of raising my boys.

I created WithLoveBonda because I wanted a place to document these moments ; the ordinary days that quietly become the memories we treasure later.

A space to write about motherhood, share ideas, reflect on parenting, and capture the little things that make family life meaningful.

Editing this right now, it actually brings back memories. Memories of 12-year-old me sitting at my dad’s computer, designing my own little blog. I’ve always loved journaling. I used to keep diaries and blogs when I was younger.

But life got a little more complicated as I grew up, and somewhere along the way I stopped documenting life with words. I found joy in photos instead.

And yet… here I am again.

Now documenting my motherhood journey.

And honestly, I’m so excited for what’s ahead.

If you’re reading this, welcome to my little corner of the internet. Please be kind, and I hope this space brings a little warmth, comfort, or inspiration to your day.

Here you’ll find stories from our everyday life, ideas for activities with little ones, reflections on motherhood, and sometimes a little bit of creativity along the way.

This blog is simply my way of slowing down and holding on to these years with my boys.

If you’re a parent, guardian or someone who appreciates the beauty of ordinary moments, I’m really glad you’re here.

With love,

Bonda
